O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 05.09.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he lodged a complaint as against one Jamshed Bai on the allegation that the said Jamshed Bai had encroached the public toilet with an intention to demolish and construct a mosque. On receipt of the said complaint, though the respondent police has assigned CSR number as CSR No.844 of 2015, no action has been taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that on the said complaint, enquiry was conducted and it was closed on 12.09.2015.

4. Since the complaint lodged by the petitioner was already closed, this Court cannot give a direction to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police to enquire into the matter. Hence, the present criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy by filing a complaint under Section 156[3] Cr.P.C. before the learned Magistrate concerned, if he is so advised Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CCC) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar gya To 1.The Sub Inspector of Police, Madhavaram Police Station, Chennai.
