This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.358/TN2/2014, dated 14.07.2014 on the file of the respondent.

2. The petitioner herein had lodged a complaint as against the unknown vehicle which caused the accident, in which, the petitioner's son died on 14.07.2014. The said complaint was registered in Crime No.358/TN2/2014 on 14.07.2014 but dill date, there is no progress. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.358/TN2/2014 and file a final report as early as possible.
