O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 31.08.2015.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against her husband on 31.08.2015, on the allegation of dowry harassment. Though the complaint was received by the 3rd respondent police in CSR.No.238 of 2015, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said complaint in CSR.No.238 of 2015 was transferred to W33, All Women Police Station, Madhavaram and now, the complaint is pending before the All Women Police Station, Madhavaram. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, W-33, All Women Police Station, Madhavaram to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 31.08.2015 given by the petitioner, if materials gathered indicates commission of any cognizable offence, the Inspector of Police, W-33, All Women Police Station, Madhavaram is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months.
