PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to evacuate the unknown persons camping in the property situated at Seemavaram Road, Minjur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District comprised in Survey Nos.145/2, 160/1, 160/2, 160/3 and 160/7.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner in continuation to the earlier order dated 16.07.2021 passed by this Court, today, the learned counsel appearing for petitioner produced a receipt for making payment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to survey the land. The revenue authorities on verification of the records had issued a challan to the petitioner and thereafter, the amount was paid.

2. In view of the same, this Court directs the 3rd respondent police to give protection to the revenue and Government officials, who are to inspect the property, earmark the boundaries of the property and thereafter, the petitioner to safeguard the property by putting up fencing or constructing wall and any obstruction by encroachers, to be dealt in accordance with law.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
