O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.V.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for hearing.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to act upon the communication of the 2nd respondent dated in O.Mu.1744/2015 Aa dated 30.06.2015 within a specified time frame.

3. With regard to a dispute related to patta in respect of land in Survey Nos.153/1 and 151/5 in No.162, Mahabalipuram Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District, measuring an extent of 2 Acres and 80 Cents, the petitioner submitted a representation on 16.04.2015, through their counsel. The 2nd respondent, by a communicated dated 30.06.2015, directed the Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry and submit a report. Even thereafter, steps have not been taken. The said representation of the petitioner has not yet been disposed of till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2015, in the light of the direction given by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirukazhukundram Division, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CS II ) /true copy/ Sub Asst.
