ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in Cr.No.1049 of 2020 and file a final report within the stipulated period.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 04.06.2020, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police shall file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
