ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint given by the 2nd respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2nd respondent, gave a false complaint against the petitioner and based on the said complaint, the 1st respondent is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent has registered a case in Cr.No.17/2018 for the offences u/s.294[b] IPC and section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act.

Since FIR has been registered against the petitioner, now the petitioner cannot take a plea that the 1st respondent is harassing him under the guise of enquiry. Therefore, the petition is liable to be dismissed.

In the result, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
