O R D E R

With the consent of both the learned counsels, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.M.Shajakhan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents.

3. Writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent, based on the complaint letter dated 05.03.2025, and to pass orders within a time frame fixed by this court.

2. The petitioner states that the 4th respondent constructed an additional building and was operating the same without obtaining necessary permission from the Kadambattur Panchayat union office. The petitioner applied under the Right to Information Act, and was informed that the Panchayat passed a resolution on 26.01.2025, stating that the 4th respondent was operating without proper permission for additional building and without paying taxes to the 2/4

Vayalur Panchayat, Tiruvallur District. The petitioner submitted a complaint to all the respondents, but till date, no action was taken. The petitioner therefore filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the complaint letter was given as early as in March 2025, but till date no action was taken. Therefore, a direction may be issued to the respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the appropriate authority to take action is the 1st respondent.

5. In view of the above submissions, I am inclined to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 05.03.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 03.06.2025 dsn N. MALA, J.
