Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 07.02.2020 and consequently issue th epatta with the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(1)This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.02.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

(2)The case of the petitioner is that the property was purchased by the petitioner by way of a registered Sale Deed dated 06.11.1995. The further case of the petitioner is that she is in possession and enjoyment of the property and she had made an application to the 2nd respondent for issuance of patta. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner made a further representation and the same also did not evoke any response and left with no other alternative, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

(3)Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate accepting notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

(4)Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.02.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the 2nd respondent finds that there are any other interested parties, notice shall be issued to them before passing the final order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 07.02.2020 as well as all the other relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

(5)The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
