Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent herein to consider, dispose of and pass orders on merits on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.05.2012 within the time frame to be fixed by this Court in respect of the petitioner's Plot No.119, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Ramarajapuram, Velachery, Chennai -600 042.

ORDER
Heard Mr.V.V.Sairam, learned counsel for the petitioner. Though the respondent-Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board has entered appearance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
through counsel, there is no representation for the respondent-Board. The fifth respondent has been served and his name also printed in the cause list, but, none appeared for the fifth respondent.
2. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 18.05.2012 to the respondent-Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board stating that the allotment in favour of the fifth respondent is illegal, however the same is pending till date. Hence the present writ petition.
3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the fourth respondent, viz., The Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, K.K.Nagar, Chennai 600 078 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2012 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent.
4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
