The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the Respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2025 and consequently direct the Respondent to pay the arrears with respect to the Continuity of Service and to calculate the salary along with other terminal benefits and pass such orders accordingly. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent representation dated 15.02.2025 claiming his salary to pay arrears and other salary dues. However, there is no response from the respondent.

3.In this connection, the Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that this Court in W.P. No. 15525 of 2018 dated 07.09.2023 has held that the petitioner is only entitled for reinstatement with continuity of service and not entitled for any back wages for his dismissal period. Hence, the petitioner is not entitled for any back wages for his dismissal period. 2/4

4.However, the fact remains that the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2025 has to be considered by the respondent. Hence, this Court without going into merits of the case, deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the above representation on its own merit in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
