ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.508 of 2014 for the offence under section 294(b) and 506(i) IPC on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same by allowing this Criminal Original Petition.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the FIR in Crime No.508 of 2014 was closed as mistake of fact on 10.07.2015 and RCS No.168 of 2015 has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Panruti.

3. In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that RCS No.168 of 2015 has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Panruti, the prayer in this petition has become infructuous. Recording the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submissions of the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
