Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct the survey and measure the land and boundaries in survey no 118/1B2 situated at Gurupedapuram Village Kallakurichi Taluk kalalkurichi District based on the petitioner online application No. 2025/ 0123/ 33/ 007959 and 2025/ 0123/ 33/ 010058 dated 10.07.2025 and 09.12.2025.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's applications dated 10.07.2025 and 09.12.2025.
2. Mr.Senthamizh Selvan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 10.07.2025 and 09.12.2025 before the respondents, requesting to conduct survey and lay boundary stones at the subject property. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd & 3rd respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025 and 09.12.2025 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.
9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the official respondents are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the 4th respondent. In such case, the 4th respondent shall provide all necessary assistance to the official respondents till the completion of survey at the subject land.
10. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
