Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that in so far as the denial of terminal benefits is concerned at that point of time the disciplinary proceedings are pending against the second respondent and subsequently, the application filed by them for condoning of delay has been dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to disburse the terminal benefits to the second respondent in the light of the common judgment passed by the Madurai Bench of this Court in W.A.(MD) Nos.383 to 457 of 2015 (K.Rajendran & Others vs. The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited, rep. by its Managing Director, Madurai and others), dated 12.06.2015. It is also made clear that the first instalment shall commence from 01.11.2016.

3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
