Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus restraining the respondents, their men, servants, agents or any one claiming on their behalf from in any manner causing any interference or disturbance in any of the programs for conducting of the "Shree Meenakshi Sundareswarar Thirukalyanam" to be celebrated by the petitioner at A/m Thirupurasundari Udanurai Thiruvalleeswarar Temple, at No.5/1 Ponamallee high Road, Nerkundram, Chennai - 600 107 to be held n 05.05.2024, on on other subsequent date, for the larger benefit of the devotees and the common good of the general public and pass orders. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the temple festival was held on 05.05.2024. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous .
