The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider place/restore the petitioner's services as a sanitary worker in the fourth respondent Panchayat and permit him to sign in the fourth respondent Panchayat attendance Register by paying necessary salary to that effect.

When the matter was taken up today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

On perusal of records, it is seen that the petitioner is said to have given a representation on 19.06.2020 and the same was not considered by the respondents 1 to 3 so far. He has further stated in the affidavit that even before the representation was given to the respondents 1 to 3, he had 2/5

made a detailed representation on 15.05.2020 before the third respondent in-person but even that was not considered.

Since the representations of the petitioner dated 15.05.2020 and 19.06.2020 are said to be still pending without consideration, I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner and dispose the same, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner of personal hearing to produce the relevant materials to substantiate his claim and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
