ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.K.M. Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner has filed a Memo dated 25.07.2018 stating that a notice was sent to the Petitioner informing him that the case was posted for final hearing, but the same has been returned on 06.07.2018 as "Left" and he is not in a position to ascertain the whereabouts of the Petitioner and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hence he has "no instructions" to proceed further. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the Writ Petition pending, when the Petitioner does not appear to be interested in pursing the matter. The learned counsel appearing for the Respondents are present.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution leaving it open to the Petitioner to apply for revival of the Writ Petition in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
