O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct a conference urging Central and State Governments to ensure protection of natural resources, mines and minerals of Tamil Nadu from 9.a.m. to 8.p.m. on 23.09.2018, at the venue of the A.V.C Marriage Hall, Thiruvizhandur, Mayiladuthurai, in Nagapattinam District, in pursuant of the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the Chief Coordinator of the Anti-Methane Project Federation. He further submitted that the petitioner's federation has decided to have a conference on 23.09.2018 at A.V.C Marriage Hall, Thiruvizhandur, Mayiladuthurai, in Nagapattinam District and hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the second respondent on 27.08.2018. But so far, no order has been passed on the said representation and hence, he request to direct the respondent to grant permission for conducting the aforesaid conference. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the said representation is pending before the second respondent.

4.Considering the above submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same on or before 20.09.2018 in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner and inform the same to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
