Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the Petitioner's representations dated 11.05.2015 and 17.07.2015 for issuance of Patta in favour of the Petitioner to the property comprised in Survey No.536, Palaya Pudhur, Coimbatore North, based on the Letter sent by the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent vide Letter X/K:/22339-2015-M1 dated 08.02.2016, within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta in respect of the property referred to in the writ petition based on her representations dated 11.05.2015 and 17.07.2015.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. At this stage, this Court, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 11.05.2015 and 17.07.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
