This Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.07.2018 regarding the correction of his father's name in the Transfer Certificate issued by the third respondent.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2018 regarding the correction of his father's name in the Transfer Certificate and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
