O R D E R

The petitioner was appointed as driver in erstwhile Cheran Transport Corporation, which was later renamed as Tamil Nadu State Transport (Kovai) Corporation Ltd., Coimbatore. The petitioner on attaining the age of superannuation retired from service on 28.2.2013. However, he was not paid the retirement benefits. The petitioner submitted a representation on 08.4.2014 requesting the first respondent to disburse the retirement benefits. However, there was no follow up action taken by the said authority resulting in filing this writ petition .

2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 08.4.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
