O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.02.2015.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Amarnath on 27.02.2015, alleging that the said Amarnath developed illegal relationship with the petitioner's wife over phone. When this was questioned by the petitioner, the said Amarnath along with two others assaulted the petitioner and threatened with dire consequences. There was a counter complaint filed against this petitioner in Crime No.31 of 2015 for alleged offences under Section 147, 148, 294[b], 323, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

307 of IPC r/w 3[1] of TNPPDL Act. The petitioner was arrested and after coming out of bail on 26.02.2015, the petitioner lodged this complaint on 27.02.2015. Till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. In the considered opinion of this Court, no document was produced before this Court to substantiate the contention of the petitioner that he was assaulted on 04.10.2014 and hence the petition stands dismissed.
