O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.09.2015.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint wth the respondent police on 08.09.2015 as against one Kailasam alleging that the said Kailasam used filthy language against the petitioner and made an attempt to attack him. On receipt of the said complainat, CSR has been assigned by the respondent police in CSR.No.626 of 2015. Till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the said contains defamation allegation, for which, the petitioner has no workout his remedy before the Civil Court and thus, he opposed to give a direction.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a specific allegation in the comlaint that the siad Kailasam attempted to attack the petitioner and threatened him with dire consequences.

Irrespective of submissions made by either side, this Court directs the respondent police to enquire into the complaint in CSR.No.626 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
