ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the official respondents to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 3rd respondent for the property Page No.1 of 4

morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.01.2016, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

3. Admittedly, based on the petitioner's representation, proceedings has been initiated by the 1st respondent on the petitioner's request for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the 3rd respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. However, till date, no final order has been passed by the 1st respondent on the petitioner's representation as stated supra.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation as stated supra, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after Page No.2 of 4

hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent and any other party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.01.2016 seeking cancellation of patta standing in the name of the 3rd respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the 3rd respondent and any other party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
