Pursuant to the Sale Deed executed in favour of the petitioner dated 27.03.2014 for the lands situated in Survey No.98, Door Nos.8 & 8A of Udumalpet Municipality, the petitioner made a representation dated 14.07.2014 to change the name in the patta. Though the said representation is said to have been acknowledged on the same day, despite subsequent communication, the request of the petitioner has not been considered.

2.Considering the pendency of the representation, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the respondent to hear any third party, if so required. 3.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
