By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd Respondents to survey the land in survey Nos.187/11A7, 187/11A8, 187/11A9, 188/2A6, 188/2A7, 188/2A8 measuring a total extent of 81.12 cents of Punja agriculture land, situated at Zuzuvadi village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district, with the aid of the 3rd respondent.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner was allotted the subject property vide partition deed No.14573/2023 dated 08.08.2023. Thereafter, vide settlement deed No.14689/2023 dated 09.08.2023, the petitioner settled the property in favour of his wife. It is further submitted that petitioner submitted an application to the 1st and 2nd respondents requesting them to survey the subject land and has also paid the necessary charges as early as on 17.01.2025. However, the respondents have not considered the same. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2/4

At the outset, Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the online application of the petitioner would be considered and orders passed in accordance with law within the time frame to be fixed by this Court, agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner, carry out a survey and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants, if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
