This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.10.2015.

2. The petitioner is a practising Advocate and he is taking steps against the persons who are illegally selling lands in various places in Tamilnadu. While so, he has lodged complaints against one Charles, Padma Samson and Prasanna Samson. In this situation, on 21.08.2015, the said Charles, Padma Samson and Prasanna Samson sent mercenaries to the petitioner's house to attack the petitioner. Since the petitioner was not in the house, they threatened the petitioner's wife. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 21.08.2015. But, no action has been taken so far. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has lodged the complaint with Kumaran Nagar Police Station and the same is pending with the Inspector of Police, Kumaran Nagar Police Station in CSR.No.533 of 2015.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, Kumaran Nagar Police Station to enquire into the complaint in CSR.No.533 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.
