PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 26.12.2023 and to conduct the enquiry and tot take appropriate actions and to pass orders.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2023 and pass orders.

2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel 1/4

appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a devotee of Arulmigu Kaumara Mutt situated at Chinnamvedanpatti Village, Coimbatore District. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said temple was now brought under the control of HR & CE department, inspite of the same there was some maladministration. The temple's properties are leased out to some third party and the rental income was not property accounted and records are not submitted before the HR & CE Commissioner. Hence the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent on 26.12.2023. However, the same was not considered till date. Hence this petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2023 and pass orders.

5. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 2/4

submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner and take action in the manner known to law.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
