The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 24.09.2015.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 24.09.2015 as against one Rajeswari and her son Sasi stating that on 05.09.2015, they came to the petitioner's workshop and threatened the petitioner to vacate the workshop without giving any prior notice. The petitioner sought for six months time for vacating the premises. On 24.09.2015, at about 9.00 a.m., when the petitioner went to open the workshop, he was shocked to see the back side wall of shop was demolished and the machines kept in the workshop were missing. But till date, no action was taken by the respondent police for the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the dispute is between the landlord and tenant and the complaint lodged by the petitioner was enquired and closed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the complaint has already been closed, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy under Section 156

(3) Cr.P.C., if he so desires.
