ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offence punishable under section 420 IPC in Crime No.29 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This is the second anticipatory bail application and the earlier anticipatory bail application in Crl.O.P.No.5014 of 2016 has been dismissed by this Court on 09.08.2017 by a detailed order in which this Court granted anticipatory bail to the co-accused by name Suresh.

3.Mr.Ramachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner settled the matter amicably with the defacto complainants in the earlier cases, namely Cr.No.228 of 2017, Cr.No.96 of 2013 and Cr.No.2864 of 2016.

4. However, in this case, the same modus operandi has been adopted to cheat the defacto complainant of Rs.30 lakhs. 5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police have arrested Raja Mohamed and he, in his confession statement, has clearly stated the role played by this petitioner in the instant case.

6.In such view of the matter, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
