ORDER

This petition has been filed by the defacto complainant to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.233 of 2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case on 18.02.2017 in Crime No.233 of 2017 for the offence under Section 174 (iii) of CRPC, thereafter no steps has been taken to file any final report and hence he requests to direct the respondent to file final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registered the case, the matter has been taken on file and the investigation is in progress. She further submitted that she requests to grant four weeks time for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
