ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026.
2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, originally the subject land, in Survey No.121/1, measuring 12 cents of land, was classified as "gramanatham". Subsequently, during the UDR, the subject land was re-classified as "Kalam". Hence, the petitioner filed a representation dated 12.02.2026 before the 1st respondent, requesting the respondents to change the said classification as "gramanatham". However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
