ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to register the complaint dated 5.1.2015 alleged to have been given by the complainant to the respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended that the petitioner has given the complaint in question on 05.01.2015 to the respondent, wherein certain allegations have been levelled against the President of Tholar Panchayat, but the respondent has not registered the same. Under the said circumstances, present petition has been filed.

3. Considering the nature of allegations made in the complaint and also considering the fact that the respondent has not taken any action on the basis of the complaint, this Court is of the view to give the following direction:

In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The respondent is strictly directed to look into the allegations made in the complaint dated 5.1.2015 and if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent is directed to register the same and proceed further in accordance with law.
