2. The petitioner alleges encroachment in public lands. Representation given by the petitioner to the authorities has not evoked any response.

Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the Chennai Corporation submit that joint inspection would be carried out and if any encroachment is noticed, further action in accordance with law would be undertaken.
