Prayer: This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to modify the condition No.2 of the order in CMP.No.1728/2020, dated 04.06.2020 in FIR No. 921/2020 passed by the Sessions Judge, Salem. ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.2 in the order passed by the Sessions Judge, Salem in CMP.No.1728/2020, dated 04.06.2020 in FIR No. 921/2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were granted interim anticipatory bail till 04.07.2020 by the learned Sessions Judge, Salem in CMP.No. 1728 of 2020, dated 04.06.2020 on condition that they shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund (Non-refundable) and on executing own bond each for a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that the petitioners are daily wagers and it is very difficult for them to deposit such a huge amount ordered by the learned Sessions Judge, Salem, hence he seeks modification of the said condition.

4. In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the conditions imposed on the petitioners in CMP.No.1728/2020, dated 04.06.2020 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund (Non-refundable), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above modifications, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
