This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 14.04.2016 and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint dated 14.04.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.196 of 2016 and the same was closed on the short ground that the petitioner did not cooperate with the enquiry.

4. It is seen that the petitioner is 70 years old lady and she has lodged the complaint against her son. Taking into https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consideration the age of the petitioner, the respondent Police is directed to reopen the enquiry and the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry by appearing before the respondent Police. The respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
