O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to restore the electricity power supply to the Petitioner's premises in the ground floor, rear portion at Old No.14, New No.37, madly 2nd Street, T.Nagar, Chennai 17, by way of new connection in the Petitioner's name without insisting NOC from the 5th Respondent herein.

2. The petitioner herein, was inducted as a tenant in the ground floor of the 5th respondent's premises, bearing Old Door No.14, New Door No.37, Madley Street, T.Nagar, Chennai - 600

017. The monthly rent was fixed at Rs.1500/- and the petitioner had paid the sum of Rs.10,000/- as advance. On 25.11.2003, a fresh lease agreement was entered between the petitioner and the 5th respondent, to which, the petitioner had paid the sum of Rs.75,000/- as a lease amount to the 5th respondent. While that being so, the 5th respondent had demanded the petitioner to vacate the premises and had illegally disconnected the electricity supply to her potion on 13.07.2008, hence, the petitioner, with no other alternative, has filed this Writ Petition, to direct the respondents 1 to 4, to restore the electricity power supply to her portion of the premises.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner is not present.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has vacated the said premises and service connection has already been effected by the respondent, hence, nothing survives in this Writ Petition.

5. Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
