The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to grant special leave to appeal from an order of the acquittal passed in C.C.No.7118 of 2016 vide order dated 27.12.2022 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track Court I, Egmore at Allikulam, Chennai.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and leave is granted to the petitioner to prefer appeal.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
