M.Chandrasekaran v. P.Stephen

C.M.P.Nos.9985, 10550 and 10545 of 2024 in W.A.Nos. SR 88963, 88964 and 88965 of THE HON'BLE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE and MOHAMMED SHAFFIQ,J.

These civil miscellaneous petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking to condone the delay of 777 days in re-presenting the above writ appeals.

Heard Mr.V.Prakash, learned Senior Counsel for M/s.C.S.Vedavalli, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Nedunchezhiyan, learned counsel for the first respondent.

Though this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavits filed in support of these petitions, considering the huge delay in re-presenting the above appeals, delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) each to the credit of Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court, Chennai, within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Upon production of receipt for payment of costs, these civil miscellaneous petitions stand ordered.

The Registry is directed to number the appeals subject to compliance of the aforesaid direction and if they are otherwise found to be in order, and tag them along with W.A.No.1620 of 2024.
