ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to compromise between the petitioners and the Defacto complainant and quash the FIR in Crime No.1464/2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that though the petition has been filed for seeking to quash the FIR, he would pray for direction may be issued to the respondent/Police, to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.1464 of 2020 and also direct the trial Court to complete the trial at the earliest.

3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.1464 of 2020 and file the final report before the Jurisdictional Court at the earliest. On such filing of the report, the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate, shall take steps to commit the case to the Court of Sessions, at the earliest.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
