This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner, petitioner husband and his family life and limb by considering the representation of the petitioner dated on 22.04.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, and give police protection if necessary.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
