The appellant filed a writ petition before the Writ Court in W.P.No.16048 of 2016 challenging the notification dated 26 May 2013. Even though a stay petition was filed to stay the operation of the notification, interim order was not granted by the learned Single Judge. Therefore, the appellant has come up with this intra court appeal.

2. The Division Bench of this Court by order dated 26 July 2013 granted an interim order to the effect that any selection or appointment to the post, which is under challenge, would be subject to the result of the writ appeal.

3. The writ petition is now ripe for hearing. There is no question of keeping the writ appeal pending. We make it clear that the interim order dated 26 July 2013 granted by this Court would be in force till the disposal of the writ petition in W.P.No.16048 of 2013.

4. We direct the registry to post the writ petition for final disposal before the learned single Judge as per roster early.

5. The writ appeal is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
