By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that he is a B.E. Graduate and also otherwise abled (physically challenged) having the disability to the extent of 90% and he applied for LPG Distributor ship based on the newspaper advertisement released in "Daily Thanthi" dated 21.09.2013, by the respondent and his application was also acknowledged on 21.10.2013. Thereafter, he has not been informed of the progress made. The petitioner in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 02.05.2016 to the respondent and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Ms.L.Srileka, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel for Indian Oil Corporation, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
