This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1073 days in filing the instant criminal appeal against the sentence imposed in judgment dated 20.10.2021 passed by the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under the POCSO Act, Cuddalore, in Spl.S.C.No.29 of 2020.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
