Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to disburse the medical claim under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) made in Claim ID No.26534816 for an amount of Rs.6,30,482/- which was raised for my husband's medical expenses based on my representation dated 12.12.2024 and her legal notice dated 04.02.2025 and expedite the process of her medical claim within the period stipulated by this Court.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the second and third respondents to disburse the medical claim of the petitioner.

2. At this juncture, the learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the third respondent, states that all the eligible amount of the petitioner, for a sum of Rs.3,21,429/-, has been settled. He would further submit that the petitioner is only eligible for the abovesaid 2/4

amount. However, the petitioner would submit that the above amount represents only half of her claim.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Senior Panel Counsel, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to redress her claim before an appropriate forum, in accordance with law. No costs.
