Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's complaints dated 28.07.2025 and 08.09.2025 and conduct an enquiry based on the said complaints by conducting search in respondents 4 to 11 places and seize the Bagavathi Amman Idol and proceed in accordance with the law.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's complaints dated 28.07.2025 and 08.09.2025 and conduct search in places belonging to respondents 4 to 11 and seize the Bagavathi Amman idol.

2. Learned counsel for respondents 2 and 3, on instructions, submitted that complaints filed by the petitioner have been considered, inquired into and subsequently closed. He further submits that there exists a private dispute between the petitioner and the temple administration.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, we dispose of the petition with a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, within a period of one week from today. There will be no order as to costs.
