(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.) This Petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in H.C.P.No.1279 of 2020 dated 13.08.2020 by a further period of 30 days from 12.09.2020 to 12.10.2020.

2.Heard Mr.A.P.Sathyamurthy, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.It is seen that the convict was already granted 30 days leave from 14.08.2020 to 12.09.2020 on the ground that his father is suffering from Cancer. Today, on the very same reason, extension of leave is sought. Chemotherapy treatment for Cancer is a continuous process. For every chemotherapy, the petition cannot be encouraged. 1/3

4.Hence, the extension of leave sought for by the petitioner is dismissed.
