ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate (FTC) at Hosur to dipose of STC No.29 of 2021 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter got dragged and the respondents are purposely delaying the trial. Hence, he seeks to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
4. On perusal of the docket order, it appears that the accused were not appearing before the Trial Court and the case has been protracted from 18.02.2021 without any valid reasons. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate (FTC) at Hosur to expedite the trial and dispose of the main case in STC No.29 of 2021 on merits within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
