O R D E R

The petitioner seeks writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 30.07.2014 seeking for compassionate appointment, since her husband died in harness.

2.A counter has been filed by the third respondent wherein it is stated that the application of the petitioner is defective. The defects were also pointed out in the counter affidavit. It is also stated that as and when the petitioner furnishes the requirements as stated in the counter affidavit, the application will be scrutinised and sent to the Director of School Education for further action.

3.It is for the petitioner to rectify the defects pointed out in the counter affidavit. Once the defects are rectified, the respondents shall consider the application and pass orders in accordance with law as per the seniority list maintained by the Department.

4.The petitioner shall comply with the requirements within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the respondents shall dispose of the application of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment within a period of eight weeks therefrom.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
