The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 436 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal, as against the judgment dated 25.11.2024 passed in Spl.S.C.No.104 of 2023 on the file of the learned Fast Track Court exclusively to deal with offences under the POCSO Act, Puducherry.

2. Mr.M.V.Ramachandra Murthy, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) takes notice for the respondent and he has no objection for this petition being allowed.

Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this condone delay petition, the delay of 436 days is condoned and this petition stands ordered.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the same in regular course.
